I had been wanting to try Evah Pirazzi strings for a while, so I finally decided to do it. I wanted to review them, so I waited a month or two after they had completely settles and had time to really test them out. I must say, these strings are quite OUTSTANDING. They all are in timbre with one another, and produce a sweet sounding ring in the treble and a deep, dark, bold sounding ring in the bass. While I cannot speak for the viola strings, I must say that if they are like these viola strings, they are awesome as well. These strings can really transform your sound, playing experience, and enjoyment of playing music. These really make your instrument pop. The one drawback is that they are on the more expensive side as apposed to Dominants. However, they are worth the 100$+ price. They really can change your playing and make it a 1000x better. try them if you have been thinking, I don't think you'll be disappointed. These will certainly be recommended to my fellow Violists.

The Evah Pirazzi are outstanding on my instrument. I've used Dominant sets, and mixed combinations of Dominants with other strings in the past, including Larsen and Jargars, and Spirocores, and buy far the set of Evah Pirazzi is the best on my instrument. I dont believe I would use any other strings. During a week of playing workshop concerts I was asked by many people if I was using a new viola. The bright, open, clear, sound of these strings is just great on my 16.5 Gottfried Raabs viola.
