This alternate Evah Pirazzi Slap set is a substitues wound synthetic G and D strings instead of the plain gut G and D. The tone is dark and rich with great projection which is ideal for slap style but also great for old school baroque arco styles. The tension is low and even across the entire fingerboard.

In former times sheep gut was the sole raw material available, but now state-of-the-art synthetics and various steel and non-steel strands, such as gold, tungsten, silver or titanium are used.
