Three months and not a single regret
I am a beginner, but quickly outgrew the cheap viola I started with. There's little that I can compare this instrument with, but it is comfortable and easy to play, visually beautiful, and the tone is smooth and easy. When my teacher first played it, my jaw probably hit the floor (actually I may have started dancing). I am nowhere near making that sound but I consider that a good thing, as I know it's something I can work toward as I progress. Love this viola!
Our daughter changed from violin to viola and this instrument is as beautiful to look a ad it is amazing to hear. It's warm, rich tone is such an improvement over her old instrument. She fell in love from the first bowing, even before tuning it, as it had such a nice sound. Recommended for a serious student. Her teacher also spoke of what a nice instrument we had purchased.
I got the 16.5" Carlo Lamberti. All around impressive! I hate to admit it, but I've spent WAY more for violas of far lesser quality.
I also have the 16.5" Lamberti, and have combined it with the Coda Prodigy bow. Together they create such a beautiful tone, incredibly deep and rich.
Affordable for a Beginning Violist
As a beginning violist, I don't regret getting this instrument. Affordable and worth it if you are dedicated to become a violist. Coupled that with Shar's payment method. You get the best value overall.
