Carl Bohm (1844-1920) was a German pianist and composer. Unlike the heavy and dark works of many German composers, his music was in a lighter taste. Introduction and Polonaise No. 12 for Violin and Piano is a great tutorial material for young violinists. This piece is also included in Solos for Young Violinists, Volume 2.
