Charles De Beriot (1802-1870) was a Belgian violinist. Beriot wrote many violin works; but only his pedagogical compositions are still in use for violin students. The First 30 Concert Studies, Op. 123 emphasizes on solving the technique problems that students encounter in many concerto pieces.
