Bartók, Béla - First Rhapsody, Sz 94a ("Folk Dances") - Violin and Piano - Boosey & Hawkes Edition
Based on a Hungarian folk dance called the czardas, Bartok's First Rhapsody is the first of two such works for violin and orchestra. It was dedicated to the composer's good friend and fellow Hungarian, Joseph Szigeti, one of the great violinists of the early 20th century.
