Overall good with some caveats

Pros: Beautiful exterior and color combo; contemporary look; super light; sturdy handle; for the minimalist; Shar sale price was unbeatable; excellent Shar customer service agent Cons: scratches easily; NO nylon strap connecting both halves of the case to remain open like a clam shell (all BAM contour models don't have the strap - very annoying!!); bows need to be stored "backwards" (why?? this design would be ideal for someone who plays left-handed, that's 0.0013% violinists globally); although lock keys included (who locks their case daily?), both latches can easily come open so always double check After years of hauling a heavy, old school, oblong case around the world, I was seeking a super light but relatively sturdy case. I can hardly feel it on my back. I'm thinking to modify the case by installing a nylon strap to keep the case open. Buying a BAM hoodie is like covering beautiful hard wood floors with vinyl flooring, so I'll try to be careful about scratches. Not sure why bow holders are backwards. Maybe because French 1/4 rests are backwards 1/8 rests....
