I have Kun Collapsible shoulder rests for both my violin and my viola...the violin one works great, but due to the longer length of the viola one, the plastic flexes too much when I play and the shoulder rest frequently falls off. I will be replacing it soon with one that is less flexible, as this tendency has caused many problems during rehearsal and performance.

I have an older Kun rest for my violin that I love; the material is very soft and comfortable, and the feet grip my violin very well. When I switched to viola more recently, I got a Kun as well. However, I don't like this one as much. They've switched materials for the foam and the rubber on the feet. The foam is much less comfortable, and the feet don't grip the instrument well at all. It often falls off my viola or shifts when I'm playing- not a good feeling! That being said, it does the job.

Packs away neatly in viola case and is very comfortable but the material seems a little too flexible and the rest quite often detaches while playing.
