I bought these hoping they would fit considering they say best seller... I can’t get them on without having the hook on the bridge, with no room for me to attach the string, I watched the video attached but it’s not for this type of tuner

The E-loop protectors are really necessary or it will cut through the string. Otherwise this type is acoustically better AND there's no bar to scratch up the instrument. I wish there was a viola version available.

Hi Lawrence, thank you for your question. We do not suggest using this string adjuster for a 17" viola. Unfortunately, we do not carry a 1-prong string adjuster for viola. We do have 2-prong adjusters, however.

Hi Sarah, thank you for your question! My top recommendation would be Item# 2241. It's a great little string adjuster!

Hi Charlotte! Most violin fine tuners can be use on a 15 inch viola or smaller. This fine tuner would likely be too small for your 16.5 inch viola. I've linked a few fine tuners that would fit your instrument here. I hope this helps!
