Asked On: 10/24/2018

I’m currently using Pirastro Oliv-Evah rosin, but feel I need a slightly stickier rosin, due to cooler, dryer season. Would this French rosin be appropriate? If not, please suggest which rosins would be best. Thank you.

SHAR Answer:

Hello Kandence! This French rosin has a smooth finish with little dust and will likely be a little stickier than your Pirastro rosin, but there are other options, as well. Liebenzeller rosins come in several different softenesses, and something like their Gold II or Gold III would provide a good amount of grip.
