About This Item

First introduced in 2002 as Tartini Rosin, it was quickly recognized as distinct among rosins by world-renowned string players and string lovers, leading to great demand and worldwide distribution. In 2005, Andrea Bang introduced an upgraded version called "Andrea", which was designed to provide even more sensitive and sophisticated sound enhancement than "Tartini".

A Piacere has the exact same formula as the Tartini "GREEN", which provides the effortless bow control with even sound production.

Hi, what really is the difference between the Andrea solo viola, orchestra viola and a piacere viola rosin? thank you

SHAR Answer:

Hello Carla! The Andrea Solo and Orchestra rosins are an updated formula from the original Andrea (formerly Tartini). It's designed to be more sensitive to bow changes and provide more depth. The Orchestra and Solo options provide a variation of tonal textures. The Andrea Solo has more of a textured, responsive sound, while the Andrea Orchestra has more warmth and smoothness. The Andrea A Piacere was developed later and has a more similar formula to the original Tartini rosin. It provides a more smooth, balanced sound and even sound production that is suitable for all styles of playing. Let us know if you have any other questions!
