I have the pink one. Although it works great, it somehow drains batteries shockingly fast for LEDs. I get two to three weeks out of a set of batteries- and I am practicing 30-40 minutes 5 days a week max. My practice space does not have great lighting. Thinking I must have been doing something wrong, like leaving it on, I have been very careful to turn it off, to no avail. Either I need to remember to charge it, or I need to buy a set of rechargeable batteries if I want to use this product as part of my regular practice.

Hello, Terrence, thank you for your questions! The NuFlex's curved arm is pliable and very maneuverable. It is coated in a durable rubbery sheath that will not crack or split, so you can adjust the angle and distance from the music. For safety reasons, the USB power source bypasses the batteries so you would not be able to charge rechargeable batteries in it. However, with the wide variety of very small rechargeable USB battery packs available today (often sold for recharging phones), you can still go totally wireless for extended periods of time by carrying one of those for backup. Overall it is a very versatile and convenient stand light.
