I have 2 of them, and they both work very well. I have one in my main cello case, and one in a cupboard where I keep my teaching cello. The cupboard is tightly closed, and takes the place of a case. I stuck the sensor to the inside of the cupboard. I monitor both cellos with the app on my iPhone. I'd like to put the app also on my windows compute, but can't get that. That is the only downfall, but hopefully Planet Waves will fix that app availability. (Please!?)

Hello Ivan! This device has a range of about 100ft, per Bluetooth version 4.2. You will need to be within that range of your case for the measurements to update on your app. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi Laura! The Humiditrak was designed specifically for use inside an instrument case and may not be as effective when used in a room. The app is available for iOS and Android devices. Thanks for your question!
