Comfort and convenience – this zippered pocket gives you both. Attaches to the SL Super Light Compact Violin Cases (SL1B). Foam-lined, to cushion your Super Light case, allowing you to use it more easily as a backpack. Zippered pocket to hold your laptop, sheet music, or method books. Interior measures 9" x 14". Three thumbscrews for case attachment are included with the pocket.

Note: this will only fit on the SL1B case, not the SL1, which does not have the attachment hardware installed. To add storage capacity and padded straps to the SL1, we recommend the Joey for Shaped Violin Cases.

Excellent addition to the SL Superlight Violin Case.

Back Pocket with Cushion for SL Backpacking Violin Cases holds my iPad Pro and strings perfectly, and makes the case far more comfortable to use in a backpack configuration. Depending on what you put in it, it does skew the center of gravity considerably. When I put my iPad Pro in it, the case can no longer stand up vertically (like a cello case) without leaning it against a wall But it’s worth it!

Nice idea; execution not so much

I got the Super Light case partly because of this. I walk quite a lot, often through woodland paths, when I'm going to gigs, and I loved the idea of not having separate cases for violin and sheet music. And in general, this does the trick. But: 1. This sheet music case is only large enough for small to medium size pages, and, e.g., your Baerenreiter scores won't fit. Also, not many pages will fit, maybe about 50 to 75. 2. The rounded corners are not friendly to the corners of your sheet music; if you put the music in a sturdy envelope, that will do the job, but very few of those envelopes will fit the case. 3. The case breathes very nicely, which is nice for your back but not so great for the sheet music, especially if it rains. 4. This is not designed to hold other things, such as pencils I like the idea of this case, but hope that a model 2 is in planning stages.
