Berber Ebony Violin Chinrest

This is a great chinrest. Super comfortable. I really enjoy the 27mm height as it reduces stress on my neck. I also added a thin layer of cork sheet material under the chinrest raising the chinrest to about 32 to 33 mm which makes my playing very comfortable.

Finally found the perfect chin rest for my son.

This chinrest works well for me for 3 reasons:
1. It is hybrid and allows chin to rest in various places depending on how I position my instrument.
2. It has a substantial lip on outside that gives my chin a secure position without slipping.
3. It’s slightly higher that average chinrests, which works well for my body type.
I love it!

A friend of mine had a Berber chinrest.
I purchased one and did not like it at first. I began to have shoulder pain this November and returned to using it. It helped me a lot and now I am ordering a viola one.

The Berber chinrest allows for a range of positions: extreme side, side, center... It is extremely comfortable. I recommend this chinrest over every other on the market. It is installed on my three violins and two violas. I have been in the teaching and
performing business a very very long time.
