Yamaha Silent Series Instruments are simply some of the most versatile instruments ever made - extremely playable,
there is no need to alter your technique to play them. Built-in
electronics allow the player to plug in standard headphones
and play privately without disturbing neighbors, or to plug into
a standard amplifier for stage performance. Students will
appreciate a unique feature that the instruments allow - play
a standard CD or tape with the violin plugging in the provided
cord, and then practice with the music. The volume level of
the violin and CD can be adjusted for perfect balance. |

Designed for both silent practice and performance settings, the new
Silent Violin features the traditional body styling of the Yamaha
Electric Violin, with full tailpiece and standard shoulder rest,
plus an upgraded dual piezo pickup system, giving an

Yamaha Silent Cellos
Practice with CDs, connect to an amplifier, or simply play in
private without disturbing others with the provided headphones.
With a warm, full-bodied tone, the Silent Cello retains characteris-tics
found in fine acoustic cellos. The unique shape of the YC2
model allows for compact storage by folding in the outer bouts.
Both styles include ebony fingerboard and pegs, maple neck,
spruce body, headphones, and high-quality padded bag.
Requires 2 AA batteries (included) or optional AC adapter
