Blemished, Trade-In, and Second Quality Items

Blemished Products
These items have minor cosmetic blemishes that will not effect the playability or function of the instrument, bow, or case. These are similar to the minor blemishes you would collect with normal use. Our blemished instruments receive the full Shar set up and inspection, and are otherwise identical to cosmetically perfect instruments. Blemished bows and cases are fully inspected and tested by our experienced staff and are otherwise identical to cosmetically perfect bows and cases. These items carry our full return privileges, warranties and trade-in credit towards future purchases from Shar (instruments only). Please note: Due to the nature of electronic equipment, we cannot accept electric instruments for trade-in.

Trade-In Instruments
Because we do not accept traded in bows or cases, this type of outlet item only applies to instruments. These instruments have been returned by players trading up to another instrument. All go through a full inspection, restoration, and tonal adjustment. Only instruments that are in very good to excellent condition are offered for sale to ensure your complete satisfaction, and wear is only cosmetic and has no effect on performance. They carry our full return privileges, warranties and trade-in credit towards future purchases from Shar.

"Second" Quality Bows
This type of outlet item only applies to bows. Our inspectors are tough! And they have the last word when it comes to quality. These bows were rejected by them for a variety of reasons, which could include: screws that are a bit too tight, small knots in the wood that may cause premature breakage, wood grain that is inconsistent in appearance, hair that is slightly long and requires too many turns of the screw, etc. However, these bows will play well. Each bow is marked with the inspectors' own sticker, detailing the reason they rejected the bow. These bows carry full return and warranty privileges.

Warranty Information
All products in the sharoutlet are covered for 1 full year against defects in materials or workmanship.
