Here is the perfect string for the working pro or active student, at a reasonable price! Strong Synthelon core produces a warm, complex and powerful sound, similar to gut strings. Fast break-in period and stability in varying climatic conditions is decidedly not similar to gut strings! Aluminum-wound A and D, with silver-wound G for extra warmth in the low registers. Choose the solid E-string for a clear, brilliant sound, or the aluminum-wound E if you prefer a mellow, softer sound. Both have removable ball ends, suitable with all fine tuners. Buy a set, and Overture includes two E strings at no extra charge: One solid and one wound. Sizes 4/4, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/10, 1/116 (1/8 - 1/116 only available as sets).

    Worst strings ever.

    I haven't had these strings 2 months and two have already broken from normal use. I am very disappointed in these strings. I will be sticking to Correlli Crystals from now on.

    Love them so far

    I really like the respomse and complex sound from my instrument with these strings. I have about 20 hours on them at this point and they have settled in nicely. I use a pickup and 60 amp fiddle mp, and they lend a better sound than the heavy gage strings that I used before, Lots of compliments received about the wonderful warm fiddle sound that Im projecting. Great value, I believe I found an excellent string value with excellent sound. The D took about 6 hours to finially settle in, the only problem encountered so far. Give them a try ! ...
