Emmy-Award winning composer Angela Morley wrote music for movies, TV, and stage productions. Rêverie was conceived for recording purposes (on a request from the BBC), and dedicated to violinist Geoffrey Allan, a friend of the composer. It is appropriately dreamlike, somewhat reminiscent of the film music of the 1940s and 50s. This lovely piece also exists in a version for violin and strings.

This edition for violin and piano is published by Novello Publishing, Ltd. (Chester Music).
