Haydn’s Violin Concerto No. 2 in G major is a great example of Classical period style.  Full of simple yet lovely melodies, the piece requires brilliant intonation and lightness of sound at the same time.  Perfect for advancing players who are comfortable with shifting, some double-stops, and the occasional four-note chord.

This C.F. Peters edition is edited by Ferdinand Küchler and includes cadenzas in the music (also by Küchler). 

NOTE: This item does NOT include a play-along CD.  For the Peters edition with the CD, please choose item 1185 206.
