Carl Flesch’s Scale System is, almost a century after its initial conception, still one of the most widely-used scale methods for advanced violinists.  The current edition is a revision by one of Flesch’s pupils, Max Rostal, who translated and expanded the method for easier reading.  As the full title suggests, scales and arpeggios are presented in all major and minor keys, as well as in a variety of rhythmic patterns for well-rounded practice.
