    Great Pedagogical Solos

    This book is wonderful for students who need extra work with a low first finger. The collection starts with songs in C major. Then it provides songs with 1-3 flats. The last song is quite chromatic. I ike the rhythmic challenges and expressive opportunities that students encounter in Shooting Stars. The solos are enjoyable and represent various styles -- a cakewalk, march, jig and blues piece to name a few. ... (See Full Review)
