Originally for solo piano, Béla Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances is a collection of six melodies collected and arranged by the composer in the early part of the 20th century. This arrangement for string orchestra by Deborah Baker Monday contains four of the original six movements, and is suitable for an intermediate to advancing string orchestra.
