Known for hammering out compositions at his piano without advance planning, Frederick Delius' Concerto for Violin and Cello, or Double Concerto, isn't bound to a classical form and is played without a break.  It was composed in 1916, the end of his most fruitful period for composition, which World War I put an end to.  This style of music really is unique to Delius, but the closest comparable style would be the French impressionist movement of the same time period.

Published by Lauren Publications.  Piano reduction arranged by Philip Heseltine. Reprint of the 1920 Augener Edition.  For Violin and Cello.

Difficulty: A6 (Apprentice Rating)
