Designed to be used by intermediate-level players, The Rose Suite by Lee Burswold can be played by three violins, or two violins and viola.  It can even be used by a whole violin section.  With five pieces written in styles ranging from Baroque to blues, there is something for everyone in this collection.  Ideal for high-school players, the pieces provide a fun way to reinforce concepts like syncopated rhythms, positions (1st through 4th), and chromatic finger patterns.  The parts are written so that Violin 1 is in a higher register than Violin 2, and so on, thus making the collection a good one for players with slightly different ability levels.

Includes a score and parts (three violin parts and an optional viola part that doubles the Violin 3).  For contents, please see "Item Includes".  Published by Latham Music.
