The perfect viola for the beginner! Designed from the groud up as "best in class", the Hoffmann Amadeus viola is crafted from quality maple, spruce and ebony. Refined setup is immediately evident in the smooth hand feel, smooth peg function and responsive, clear sound. Carbon fiber tailpiece with four built-in string adjusters helps the beginner develop confidence. Outfit includes shaped foam case, rosin and brazilwood/horsehair bow.

This item comes with Shar's 1 year warranty covering defects of workmanship or materials. General wear and tear or mis-use are not covered. Non-transferable.

    Wow!

    This viola surpasses anything I could imagine getting at this price point anywhere else by mail. The low C is deep and resonant. Easy playability on the set up. Pegs turn easily and stay put. fine outfit. This is my first dealing with Shar. It won't be my last. A wonderful supplier for strings for those of us who live far away from any real string shop. 50% - credit of the original purchase for Hoffmann instruments and outfits.

100% - credit of the original purchase price for better quality instruments (Carlo Lamberti, Otto Ernst Fischer, Karl Joseph Schneider, John Cheng Workshop, Collector's Series, and those from our Fine Instrument Collection).

There will be NO refurbishment fee deducted for normal wear and tear. A depreciation fee will only be deducted if the instrument has had serious damage (cracks, etc.).
