Molded foam construction makes this case very light, but the secret to its strength is in clever reinforcement with plywood. Trim, neat black cover has a full music pocket and subway strap. Four bow holders, shoulder rest holder, matching blanket and oversize accessory compartment. Large leather handle and detachable carrying strap make this case a joy to tote.     Excellent Case, especially for the price

    I was searching for a light weight oblong case. However, I did not want to pay several hundreds of $ for the lightest in Sh.ar shop. I found this one that is only 3/4 lb heaver. In appearance nd quality, it does satisfy my best wishes for a case. It is roomy enough for all accessories including music stand light. Most important, the edge of the bows are not covered by "dark caves"!!!. Such caves attract bow hair mites!!!. I had problems with previous violin and viola cases with mites eating hair of not so often used bows. In summary: Excellent Violin Case. ... (See Full Review)

    Too small, and color different than expected

    This case would have been OK, if I had a slightly smaller violin. If it is a pinch over 14", don't bother. The color was more gray with a hint of blue. One of the bow spinners arrived broken. The bow I ordered was loose. This could have been due to the shipping, as the case was carefully wrapped by Shar. On a positive note, the compartments were nice and I liked the location to try and accomodate the Comford Shoulder Rest/Cradle. This would be a nice case for someone's violin that fits, and if you order blue and anticipate more gray. It is lightweight and had the subway features, music holder, string tube, and bow holders.
