The first time you open this case, you will pause for several moments to take it all in. The interior is finished with contrasting cream suede on your choice of olive green, claret red, deep blue or onyx black cotton velvet lining, quilted in a dramatic diamond pattern or choose from two new interiors: purple paisley or black paisley, in a subtle finish, with a gray twill cover. The case lid has a distinctive recessed design, and one's eye is irresistably drawn to the bow spinners, which have a unique wood-grain finish. For an elegant exterior, all hardware is gold-toned, including latch and all screws, heavy-duty carrying strap ring, the feet, even the zipper pull. Matte silver finish hardware installed on new purple paisley and black paisley models. Nicely detailed, soft leather subway strap and two padded carrying straps with metal clasps are also included. The arched top and back of the wood case shell is the final touch to the Ambassador's impressive design. For 4/4 violin only. Weighs 7 lbs.

    Beautiful but poor quality

    Upon receiving my purple case, I was impressed by how beautiful it was. It is a perfect shade of purple and has wonderful brown accents. The outside is even a nice blue-gray. However, the latch oes not align properly so I have to push inwards for it close. Also, two weeks after starting to use it, the fabric near the strap holders ripped. I payed less for my old case and had it for over 5 years and it never ripped. I would not recommend it. ... (See Full Review)

    Poor Craftsmanship

    This case was not what I expected. It looks beautiful in the picture, but on close inspection, it turns out to be made out of cheap materials and is poorly crafted. The fabric is not soft or ushy. It feels like fuzzy paper. In addition, it is not hemmed properly inside the accessory pockets and looks as though it will unravel. The paisley pattern is printed on, not swen into, the fabric. Leather-like seems along the outside edges are plastic and don't seem like they would last long. Overall a cheap-looking product.
