I gave my back-up bow to my granddaughter who had grown into needing a 4/4 bow and purchased the Joule as my new "back-up". My primary bow has been a Klaus Becker C2 which is a great sounding ow on my violin. However I find myself repeatedly reaching for my CodaBow Joule - it is becoming my primary bow because of how smooth is plays and how rich it sounds. I played both for my teacher and she said the Joule sounds richer. I previously rated my Klaus Becker C2 bow 5 stars. I stand by that rating, so I guess the Joule will have to be a 5+. I LOVE this bow... it's like it was designed specifically for ME ... it's weighted a little tip heavy, so can make some more elaborate classical bowings a little tricky, but I mostly play bluegrass... like this bow better than all the other bows I tried (even up to $2500!) ... (See Full Review)
