Ideal for the player who is not heavy-handed, but rather pulls sound out of the cello, a medium-flexible cello bow produces a sweet, singing tone and moderately quick bounce. Best suited for the more aggressive player, a strong cello bow often produces a brighter tone color and quick bounce.
