    It's a keeper!

    This chinrest (along with the Wolf shoulder rest) provides the height needed for a person with a long neck to play comfortably. I had tried a Flesch chin rest but felt it detracted from the verall look of the violin as well as interfered with the design on the tailpiece. The Vermeer is comfortable and still allows for holding the violin closer to the tailpiece rather than off to the side. It also comes in 3 types of wood (ebony, rosewood,boxwood)to supply your "design" needs. Having finally found the best combination for me I use the Vermeer on all 3 of my violins. ...
