I have tried many brands and types of shoulder rest for violin over the years and have found the Kun brand the most comfortable and secure. When the Kun standard came out, it became my favorite. hen, the Kun Bravo came along and took my heart. It functioned about the same as the standard, but the wood model was just too cool. When the carbon fiber Voce came out, I was a bit put off by the price, but decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. It is light, secure on the instrument, fits my shoulder wonderfully, and as a result I hold the violin securely with little fatigue. My teacher tried it and he has converted to the Voce. I predict it's use will spread through the orchestra the way Evah Pirazzi strings did. I own several violins and really appreciate the ease in which the Voce adjusts to different widths of instrument. Summary: I love it. ... (See Full Review)

January 19, 2010Good, but a little too high
This very light shoulder rest has a good shape in my opinion, it's quite flat (I'm not a big fan of mach one rests...) I have used it for two years before going restless. But, as another user as written, even at the lowest possible it's quite high so I have trimmed the endpieces to make it lower. I find it much better this way. ... (See Full Review)
