The Kun Collapsible fits 15 to 17 violas, and it's unique design allows feet to collapse down onto rest for easy storage. Otherwise this design is nearly identical to the Kun Original except for the underside material being brown in color instead of black. Very handy for those with shaped cases or those with insufficient space to store the standard Kun shoulder rests.

    Comfortable, But It Falls Off

    I have Kun Collapsible shoulder rests for both my violin and my viola...the violin one works great, but due to the longer length of the viola one, the plastic flexes too much when I play and he shoulder rest frequently falls off. I will be replacing it soon with one that is less flexible, as this tendency has caused many problems during rehearsal and performance. ... (See Full Review)

    Good, Not Great

    I have an older Kun rest for my violin that I love; the material is very soft and comfortable, and the feet grip my violin very well. When I switched to viola more recently, I got a Kun as well. owever, I don't like this one as much. They've switched materials for the foam and the rubber on the feet. The foam is much less comfortable, and the feet don't grip the instrument well at all. It often falls off my viola or shifts when I'm playing- not a good feeling!
