Excellent student-grade rosin for violin, viola, or cello! Easy to hold wood block ideal for beginners. Comes with cardboard cover. Dark rosin is more sticky than light rosin, so it is sometimes preferred by cellists who require more grab on the strings from the bow hair. Dark rosin is also preferred by some who are in colder and more dry regions.

    Awesome products all my students use it

    This rausin is affordable works well and is much better than the rosin that comes with my students violins. I highly recommend both the dark and light rosin.

    Adequate for beginners, sub-par after that.

    These woodblock rosins are good for beginners, but more advanced players will find them gritty and harsh.
