Melos rosin is produced from pine tree resin harvested in the famed Chalkidiki region of northern Greece, giving it special qualities favored by many of the world’s finest players. Only a small amount is needed to produce a mellow yet articulate sound.

    Excellent!

    As an active performer and teacher on violin and viola for thirty years I have used many types of rosin. A colleague suggested I try Melos light rosin and I love it. There is almost no dust hen playing, it takes very little when applying and it produces a beautiful, rich non "sticky" kind of sound. I don't see myself using another rosin for a long time. ...
