    pleasantly surprised!!

    I was a 'tad' reluctant about getting this rosin at first -- the advertisement came at me like someone selling a used car... But I figured, 'What-the-hey?' So far it does as advertised if not etter! So far the tone, resonance, everything about the sound of both my violins (one with Dominant strings the other with Pro Arte) is luscious & delicious! I am really shocked this rosin is drawing such wonderful sound, and a lighter rosin than I am accustomed to. I live in a very arid part of the U.S. and dark rosins usually rule! I do have to reapply more frequently and I hope that in the future this formula is improved so that it stays on the bow longer, but other than that I am pleasantly surprised! ... (See Full Review)

    Positive and negative attributes to it

    Produces great sound, but chips easily. It also wears away very quickly, you have to keep applying it. On a positive note, it produces great tone quality and is good for both lighter and grittier laying. It lasts a long time, works fabulously with Dominant strings (obviously), and I recommend it. ...
