    Good but scrapes stand

    I have had this for probably even 2 decades. I do like it a lot for conveneince in snatching up a pencil. The slide on pencil shelves, with a rough surface often can make little tears in the ottom of pages when you turn them. So, this does not. HOWEVER, it DOES scratch off the the black paint/metal )?( on your high quality stands. So, I stopped using it. But maybe if you use the simple metal foldables, it would be good. ...
