    Plastic light...not bad.

    I've had one of these for a while. Plastic is good since it doesn't get so hot like metal. I'm buying more for my school. A good value.

    Cheap lamp

    The price should have been the first indicator, but I bought it anyway. Upon opening the box, I realized the whole construction was made from plastic. The light bulb supply was very dim. The limsy construction felt cheap and the plastic shroud did a poor job in dissipating the heat generated from the lamp. Luckily, Shar was open about their return policy.
