March 11, 2009Good product for a great price
First let me say that was the quickest shipping Ive ever received. less than two day! I learned how to use it in about an hour. Though it doesnt fit on the scroll that way it does in the picture ut I just put it on the peg and it works wonders on tuning! This is my very first metronome and I very happy. Its smaller than I thought it would be which is great because I dont need a metro/turner taking up so much space! The best feature I would say is the metronome will help you with any note. Playing eighth notes the metronome will accommodate that nothing is too big for this little metro/tuner! ... (See Full Review)

November 05, 2007very good
I bought this item after a sales rep directed me to it--the photo in the Shar catalog shows it mounted to the scroll of the violin. It doesn't fit my 4/4 violin like that, but it will mount o a peg or to the pegbox in cases where the pegs don't get in the way. It doesn't have the same flexibility as the Center pitch, so in some positions, you may have to view it sideways. I like the light, but I haven't had the unit long enough to determine if it sucks battery life rapidly. If you use your pegs to tune, you might have trouble finding a good place to mount it. If you mount it on the A/E side of the pegbox, your left hand will block your view of it. In use it responds as quickly as my Intelli 201 w/ pickup. Having a metronome and a tone generator on such an item is really overkill, but hey, no one has to use them. ... (See Full Review)
