The MA-1 offers a broad tempo range and a rich variety of beats and rhythm patterns in a compact design. Beats are displayed as hollow or outlined triangle figures; as each beat plays, the icon for that beat fills in, providing immediate visual cues. 30-252 bpm in 1 bpm steps, beat display from 0 to 9 accented beats, plus 8 rhythm types. 12 step (C4 - B4) chromatic reference pitch and adjustable calibration setting from 410 - 480 Hz for tuning.

    Excellent Beginner Tuner

    I use this tuner for my young beginning students, as young as 3 years old. It is very easy to use and accurate enough for this purpose. My favorite tuner for older beginner/intermediate students s the Shar Wide-Range Metro-Tuner (ST204) - It costs the same as this Korg and has the metronome included. For advanced students and myself, I love the Korg KTM40, which is extremely accurate, but a little more expensive than the other two. ... (See Full Review)

    Solid as a rock

    Ive used this tuner professionally for about 15 years...the same one! You DO need to use the optional clip on cord if you tune in noisy settings, but it has performed flawlessly from recording tudios to noisy bars. And it fits in my case! ... (See Full Review)
