My 15-year daughter got a new viola which was louder than her old one. She was experiencing ear discomfort. I ordered these earplugs -- doubtful that she would wear them. She loves them! She said they are very comfortable, reducing the volume, but not muffling the sound. This is exactly how they were advertised. I am very happy with this purchase! ... (See Full Review)

Ever been rotated to the back of a string section, head engulfed by the bell of a trombone or trumpet? One option is to spend hundreds of dollars seeing an ENT and having custom ear-plugs made. went a different route and bought a pair of Hearos, which protect your ear drums from damaging decibel levels, but do not block out sound near-completely, as many foam and silicone ear-plugs do. As a result, playing "pp" is not nearly as nerve-wracking as with disposable ear-plugs. Also, I like taking these to non-Classical concerts because amplified music still feels inspiringly loud, but it's not damaging my hearing. ... (See Full Review)
