This Franz Hoffmann instrument does not come with any accessories, it is the instrument only. Most players purchase an outfit to start which includes a case, bow, and rosin, all of which are needed to begin playing.

    Excellent value

    I ordered the Blemished Franz Hoffmann Amadeus viola so that I could start learning the viola (have been playing violin for a few years). I was expecting it to be very bright, but it's not t all. It has a decent tone, which is well balanced across all the strings, which I didn't expect. It even has some resonance, - not much, but some, which was very surprising for such an inexpensive instrument. The tuning pegs are easy to turn, and they don't slip, either. The action is just right - not so high that the strings cut into your fingers, and not so low that they are almost hitting the fingerboard. This is a very good value, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this viola for a beginner or as a backup instrument. ... (See Full Review)
