May 11, 2010Good case if you don't haul it around a lot.
Between lessons, classes, practice labs, and orchestra, my cello gets hauled around at least once almost everyday. I am an adult and am not horribly rough on my things. But after about 6 mo. t started to fall apart. the handles aren't sewn on very well, and all of them are gone or hanging by a thread. The wheels have gotten loose and wobble side to side. One disadvantage is that everyone can hear you coming. The plastic wheels, amplified by the hollow case is insanely loud. Rubber wheels would make a huge difference. If you are a casual player this would be for you, but if you carry it around with you daily you'd probably be better off with a fiberglass one. But hey. For $150 bucks...I'm surprised it made it through 6 mo. of daily use. I am looking to upgrade and will probably get the Heritage Sport. ... (See Full Review)

January 12, 2010Great Case!!
I got this case for Christmas and I LOVE IT!!! I wish I had a case this sturdy and lightweight for my bassoon. It offers so much more protection than the floppy case the cello came in. Haven't uite gotten the knack of wearing it like a backpack and making it through a doorway yet. More padding on the backpack straps would be nice. Great case!! Well worth the money. ...
