About This Item

English composer Frank Bridge's music has been sadly underrated. A student of Charles Villiers Stanford, he in turn became the teacher of Benjamin Britten. His style is difficult to characterize: his early works are Romantic in sound and scope, while the later ones are more dissonant and structured. Composed around 1912, Four Short Pieces for Violin and Piano is a charming set of miniatures ideal for intermediate to advanced players.

This edition for violin and piano is published by Masters Music Publications.

Difficulty: A4
