Question By:
TANYA STREDER
From SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA

Asked On: 06/28/2016

I see the violin part, but are the viola, etc, parts actual orchestra parts? Or melody parts like the violin part shown? (It would be great if one other part could be shown.)

SHAR Answer:

Hi Tanya! Thank you for your question. Although this book features individual parts for violin, viola, cello, and bass, they are all slightly different than one another, meaning that the individual parts are not all melody parts. They are not all in unison or in octaves or anything like that. All of the string parts could theoretically function as a string ensemble when put together, although there is this nice option to play one's individual part and have the CD to play-along.

We apologize about only having the violin part shown on the website. We are continually adding new titles and it's an ongoing process in updating our sheet music. We've now posted a sample page of each individual string part, so try checking back on the website and it ought to be there now. The Play-Along CD is included with this item. Hope this helps!
