Great music, cutting corners on presenation
If duets are written in score format, and not intended as a method book teacher-student type split, I prefer to have two copies of the music, or 2 single line versions of the piece, with 1 score versions. This music is sold with a single copy of the score, viola+cello, and the alternate violin part is written single line (not a score format). They could have simply done both in score format (violin+cello, and viola+cello), which would have served the dual purpose of making a 2nd score, and the alternate violin part. I love the piece, but for the money, I was very disappointed not to get a part for both cello and viola.
