About This Item

Bela Bartok (1881 - 1945), a Hungarian composer, was an avid collector of Hungarian folk music and one of the first ethnomusicologists.  His compositions are known to reflect this music and, as the title suggests, Suite of Folksongs and Dances is no exception.  Consisting of 10 short and interesting pieces, this suite is highly recomended!

Transcribed by Tivarda Orsagh, Aladar Mozi, and Ede Zathureczky.  Revised by Lucas Drew.  For Cello or Bass and Piano.  Published by Masters Music Publications.
