About This Item

"The "Walzurka," a theme with variations for 3 violins was originally composed for my own pupils as a "musical joke."  It continued to be successful when it became more widely available to other violinists (Edition Kunzelmann, GM 1675).  Now cellists who are also known to enjoy playing together can play it together too.  The theme (a mixture of waltz and mazurka) "wanders" through all three parts as also in the variations.  This means listening to each other and playing together are required.

Enjoy playing it!"  ~ Hansdieter Meier (April 2008)

For three cellos.  Contains three copies of the playing score.  Edition Kunzelmann.

Difficulty: A3 (Apprentice Rating)
