Excellent value with some compromise in tone
I would say that for a gigging musician who wants a decent on stage pizzicato sound, this is definitely the way to go. The size is small and on stage set up is easier than if you're trying to work with a pickup (especially eliminating feedback). If you are looking for a full sound you might be better served with a midrange upright, though the CR series by NS does offer a more robust pickup system. Initial set up was also a bit frustrating - as there was buzzing on the neck in certain places. Bridge adjustment is fairly all or nothing. Beware of bowing - the arch is shallow enough that you will spend some time trying to avoid hitting two strings.
