Adorable, with a pleasant tune, but frets not placed correctly!

I like everything about this except the fact that the frets are not spaced correctly, so it's always badly out of tune. I will likely return.

I ordered this for my classroom and now I don't want to share it - ever. It is a remarkably resonant instrument with warm sound, quality set up and good strings. This guitar was a pleasure to play right out of the box. Best guitar I've come across for the price, and is superior to many I've played at much higher prices. Highly recommend.

As a music teacher a lot of ukes have passed through my room in recent years of varying price and quality. I purchased this uke for my own use, and so glad I did. It is highly resonant, outstanding set up and playability with full warm round projection. Made of unique materials, check out the Magic Fluke website for more info. Very happy with my choice to purchase this ukulele over many others in similar price range.

I ordered 4 of these for my music classroom, and they are played everyday. Great uke for the price, offering good quality materials, good set up for playability, and really nice strings. You'll have to tune them daily for a few weeks, but then they hold beautifully. Best ukes I've found for the price - highly recommend.

This is a very nice guitar, a lot more than I expected at this cost. It is beautiful. The wood grains are pretty, nice and clean. The construction craftsmanship is impressive, especially for a beginner's guitar. The finish is flawless. The tone is rich and typical of classical nylon-stringed guitars. The instrument seems very responsive to me when plucked or strummed in classical style or with a pick. The instrument is efficient. I can hear a strong note on the low (thick) E-string for 20-25 seconds. On the high (thin) e’-string for 15-20 seconds. (My hearing is not as good as it used to be, especially in high frequencies, so notes may last even longer.) The tuning machine heads work very well. Tuning acoustics check out exceptionally. With open strings tuned, notes are correct on each string all the way up the frets. And identical notes across all strings sound the same. According to my electronic tuner, all these are within a few cents of what they are supposed to be. That’s differences so small that probably very few might hear them –- I can’t. In the month of two I’ve owned the guitar, the Savarez strings have not had time to fully stretch in. Even so, the guitar has held very close to tune even with temperature and humidity ranging from spring to summer weather. The construction measurements of the guitar are spot on. The neck is aligned perfectly with the body. The neck is straight side-to-side and has no twist. The neck is over 2 inches wide at the nut. That is good for me because I have very wide fingers (XXL+ hands). They make playing chords on smaller stringed instruments difficult. That's partly why I chose a classical over a steel-string acoustic. I also like the classical timbre better. The fingerboard relief (the bend or cup under the strings) is easily adjusted with the supplied truss bar Allen wrench tool. The gig bag that came with the guitar is made of woven fabric, probably nylon. It has shoulder straps and a sheet music pocket. It's fine for carrying the guitar, and I did not expect anything more. But, of course, the fabric bag does not provide the protection that a plywood or molded plastic case would offer if you need it. I am a regular customer of Shar for violins and violin stuff. So I bought this guitar sight-unseen on-line from Shar. I am very pleased. Overall to me, this guitar is a great value. It is a credit to Cordoba’s fine reputation.
